Part Four of A Gift From Venus
Who is there?

I trip over a sock as I enter my bedroom. There is nothing like the smell of dirty socks as you come home from school. I pull off my pants and slide into my computer chair immediately. I can hear the sounds of Korean Drama ringing in my ears but I can watch anything I hear my cell phone ring some two seven four number appearing on my caller ID. I was told not to pick up for numbers I didn't know but I was curious so I did it anyways. "Hello." My voice echoed through the phone so loud I thought I had scared the person off. "Hi." A male voice shot back at me. "Who is this?" I asked politely. "Who is this?" He asked me back in sort of a mocking tone. "I asked you first." I crossed my arms. "Well I asked you second." He laughed. What I said to myself. That makes no sense. "Look," I began but then I stopped because I needed to come up with something good I was not good at threatening. I sat back in my computer chair and thought to myself. "Yes, I am listening." He said. I shook my head waking myself up out of my train of thought. "I have nothing to say." He laughed again it sent shivers down my spine and made me want to hang up. "Well that is too bad." I rolled my eyes at his cockiness. "Who is this!" I shouted. I demanded to know who he was and what he wanted from me. "Someone who finds you really funny." I crossed my legs. "Is this a prank call?" I laughed but nervously I hoped he didn't pick it up in my voice. "Brady is this you?" He said nothing. "Because this is not funny. I am going to come over right now and let you know how I feel about you calling me like this!" I knew it was not Brady. He had a younger sounding voice and this voice was deep and like a bass drum. "My name is not Brady." He finally said. I blinked. "Then who are you?" I heard some noises in the background and he said 'okay'. "Listen girly, I have something to attend to. I will call you later." I opened my mouth to tell him don't bother but before I could He hung up.
